2011....2012... Jinkies it's been a Ride.

A new Year. Aagin. 

It's been a long one..2011... and i'm glad i got a chance to sit and really think about all of the goings on that occured over the past year. I have to say.. i have weathered a financial storm that would have brought most people to their knees... but as you all know i'm NOT most people and i happen to posses the strength to not only weather the storm.. but come out of it better than i went in. And i did. 

I am truly grateful for the lessons and blessings of 2011 ...Friends... the BIGGEST blessing of them all... and i love each and every one of YOU ... flip side; i know now that while it may be Family First.. be wary.. for it seems that those who are closest to you still have the capacity to do you dirty .... i learned that once you've been treated well in a relationship, ANY relationship,  there's no going back to any other way... . There was a lot of soul searching and separating the wheat from the chaff if you might. Realizing who is toxic is easy... cutting the poison.... a little harder... but necessary. 

Love. Ah you found me again. 

Not in the way that you might be imagining, although that love is around too... but the love of self is what i'm referring to.

 I was given the gift of reclaiming who i was/am/and will be, and that friends, is beautiful!! 

OF course there were other things.....LoillpaRUza 2011... Cocktail Rings n Things... Summer Fun and BBQ's a plenty....Northside benefits with my fave BOOTY, the Baby Sis turning the big 21.... trips to central city... My BEST Birthday PARTY EVER.... Karoake takeovers... lessons on love life and other mysteries... my IMAN WOODS Pin Up Shoot... ...sidewalk chalkin...Plankin Mary Jane... annual camping shenanigans... found a new favorite kitchen to play in...New babies all around.... old friends becoming new again...The DD got it's official dish of delish....The Poker Machine got renewed action ... tarot cards were read and magic happened..... The DD stalkers and jockers were in full effect....some friends moved far away.. some far aways moved back home...Basketball lockouts and season openers....the annual Bronco rollercoaster... The 420 score on yahtzee and beating out Auntie Phyl.. aka my mother.... aka the FORMER Yahtzee champ... and of course...love .. light and Tessmoker. *wink* 

In looking back i can't help but revel in the present and look forward to the future...for no matter what it might hold... good or bad... love or loss... we're all in for the long haul!! ;) 

And as my fave always says... It'll work out in the end...

For Christmas this year...I want an NBA seaso..... oh wait it's HERE!!!! 

Seriously.. though... I've been a fan of these guys since before i was walking .. and nothing has changed! Yes, i adore football... the Broncos of course holding down at #1 .. but the NBA... it's a different kinda love. 

So, with the roster boasting talent such as Arron Aflalo.... Chris Anderson... Ty Lawson.. .Nene... and newbie Kenneth Faried...none of the "big" players are needed!

I can see the Nugs really having some amazing games and hopefull a productive season!! After last nights win over the Suns... the momentum has started and I hope it keeps up!
